- Official Name: PNGase F
- Specificity: The PNGase F enzyme catalyzes the cleavage of asparagine-linked oligosaccharides, except those containing an α1,3-linked core fucose, from glycoproteins and glycopeptides. No detectable activities of proteases or other glycosidases are observed.
- Content: Purified lyophilized powder
- Reconstitution: Dissolve the lyophilized powder in 100 μL ultrapure water to make a 40,000 units/mL solution in the Buffer.
- Buffer: 20 mM Tris, 50 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.5
- Storage: -20 °C as powder. Once reconstituted, 4 °C for ten days or -20 °C for up to six months. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
- Unit Definition: One unit is defined as the amount of PNGase F required to deglycosylate 1 nanomole (15 μg) of denatured RNase B in 1 h at 37°C in 25 μL 1X Reaction Buffer (20 mM Tris, 50 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, pH 7.5).
